How We Check Wagering Terms
We open each casino's official site from a Canadian connection, read its terms and bonus terms, and quote the clauses that set wagering, time limits, maximum bets, cashout caps and deposit rollover. A figure appears here only next to the words it came from, a link and a date.
What we read
- The official site, opened from Canada. We record the welcome offers exactly as displayed and read the footer for a licence number and operator. If the footer names none, we say so.
- Terms and conditions and bonus terms, current version. We quote the clauses on bonus wagering, time limits, maximum bet, maximum win or cashout, minimum deposit for a bonus, deposit rollover and when bonus winnings can be voided.
- Player reports. Under some clauses we show public Trustpilot reviews about that exact issue, unedited and not verified.
From quote to figure
Each figure on the board is read out of a quote by fixed rules, then shown with that quote one tap away:
- Multiple. Wordings such as "x40 (forty)", "40x", "35 (thirty-five) times", "at least 70 times" or "200 times (200x)". A clause that only refers back to a multiple ("after the 70x wagering requirement is complete") is not read as a new one. A formula without a number, such as "Bonus Amount x N", is not ranked.
- Base. "Bonus amount", "value of the bonus" and similar wording mean bonus only; "deposit and bonus" means both. If the clause names no base, we say "base not stated".
- Scope. Clauses about no-deposit bonuses or free-spin winnings are kept separate from deposit bonuses and are not ranked.
- Time limit, max bet, cashout cap. Taken from the clause wording, in the currency of the document. We never convert EUR or USD, and "$" is shown as written.
- Deposit rollover. Rules that deposits must be bet once before a withdrawal are anti-money-laundering rules on cash. We show them in their own column and never count them as "no wagering".
How the board is ordered
- Casinos that state a deposit-bonus multiple as a number are ranked, lowest first. If a casino states two different multiples, the higher one is used, because that is the requirement it can hold you to.
- At the same multiple, bonus-only comes before deposit + bonus, and an unnamed base comes last.
- Then the casino with more quoted facts, then the more recent check.
- Casinos with no parseable multiple are listed below the board, not ranked. So are terms written for the Ontario market.
- The three featured partners are not rows on the board or on any list. They appear in labelled partner blocks and have their own fact sheets.
A list page such as "low wagering" (35x or less) or "no wagering" is published only when at least two casinos qualify on quoted evidence.
Quotes, punctuation and language
Quotes are copied from the live documents. The only change we make is punctuation: long dashes are shown as short hyphens. Clauses published in French are shown in French and marked.
Dates and re-checks
Every page shows the date of the check behind it. We re-check the terms of all 38 casinos regularly; 24 are on the ranked board at the latest check. When a casino's terms change, its figures change with them at the next check.
What we do not do
- We do not deposit, play or claim bonuses, and we do not claim to have.
- We do not give star ratings or scores.
- We do not invent figures. If it is not in the casino's own documents, it is not on this site.
- We do not list casinos for Ontario, where offshore casinos are not available.
